Artist's Description
Please LIKE the image … well, if you like it.
PLEASE NOTE: This image is designed to be gallery framed on gloss paper, and specifically *not* to be printed on canvas. That's why it has a small white border. I suggest Gallery Framing. Gallery framing usually uses a black frame (I use model HP4) and the bright white matte calculated at about 25-35% of the print's width.
As an example, a 16x20" print would need a 4" to 5" bright white matte.
These are just my suggestion and how museums usually frame photographs. All the photos in my home, (both monotone and color) are framed this way. It makes the image stand out, while giving a consistent look for all your hanging images.

Lar bought his first 35mm camera at the age of 14. He then taught himself processing and printing from library books. Many were returned late ... some with a chemical smell. As an award-winning photographer, Matré went on to shoot print advertising for national clients; produce, direct, and film broadcast advertising; and produce and direct...

A little background: Cinderella Raisins is no more. I took this photo in Selma, California, during the mid-80s. Shortly thereafter, Del Monte bought them, and soon put the plant out of commission. It's since been torn down.
