PLEASE NOTE: This image is designed to be gallery framed on gloss paper, and specifically *not* to be printed on canvas. That's why it has a small white border. I suggest Gallery Framing. Gallery framing usually uses a black frame (I use model HP4) and the bright white matte calculated at about 25-35% of the print's width.

As an example, a 16x20" print would need a 4" to 5" bright white matte.

These are just my suggestion and how museums usually frame photographs. All the photos in my home, (both monotone and color) are framed this way. It makes the image stand out, while giving a consistent look for all your hanging images.

Lar Matre was born in California near the middle of the 20th century. His parents remember that he started drawing just after he started walking, showing his artistic abilities very early on.
